Tips & Tricks

• Remind your guests to wear paint clothes since our paints are permanent on fabrics
   

• If you decide to bring in cake or food be sure to bring in any plates, cups, napkins, etc. that you need and don't forget a candle for your cake if this is a birthday party!

• Remember to relax and have fun! We always think paintings come out best when you are enjoying yourself and are relaxed...and we know wine certainly helps too!
   

• Don't forget to take photos! Progress photos can be so much fun to look back on and group photos make for great mementos. We have photo stations throughout our venue as well that you are welcome to utilize during drying breaks. Be sure to tag #paintedpalace on social media!
   

• If you're looking for a great catering option we recommend Angelo's which is a family owned Italian restaurant right across the street from our venue!

FAQs

Where is the party venue located? 

Our address is 1813 130th Ave NE #210 Bellevue, WA 98005. Our party venue is street facing and we have parking in front of our venue plus there is additional parking on the street or around the back of the building.

What do I need to bring with me?

We have all of the basics you need for your party but if you would like, you are welcome to bring in lunch, snacks, or dessert for your party! If you do bring in any food items we ask that you bring in any plates, cups, napkins, etc. that you will need as well. You are also welcome to bring in some basic decorations to put out but we do ask that you avoid confetti, silly string, and open flames (aside from when singing happy birthday)

Can we buy or bring in drinks?

One glass of beer, wine, hard seltzer, or soda for each guest is included in your ticket price. Additional beverages can be purchased throughout your event and range from $1-$7. Outside beverages may not be brought in due to Washington State liquor laws. If you wish to bring in your own wine we charge a $20 corkage fee per bottle and our staff will need to open the bottle for you.

When can I arrive?

You can arrive up to 15 minutes prior to your party start time to drop off your things and do any setup that you need before the guests arrive. When you arrive, we will have everything set up on our end and will have a helper on hand to help with anything you need as you arrive and setup.

What do I do at the end of my party?

At the end of your party you can pay your party balance if you have not done so already and we will have the option to add gratuity if you would like. We ask that you pack up anything you would like to take home but our staff will take care of all other cleanup! If you need help packing things up or bringing them out to your car please ask our staff and they are happy to assist.

How long do paintings take to dry?

All paintings will be ready for your guests to take with them when they leave at the end of the party! Most paintings dry to the touch within 15 minutes but some with a more generous helping of paint may take a little longer or need the assistance of a dryer which our staff is happy to help with.

Which paintings can I choose from?

We have a large gallery of painting options to choose from which you can view here: Adult Paint Gallery. We ask that you send us your painting selection at least 48 hours prior to your party so we can let our staff know and they can set up accordingly. If you have a special request for a painting theme that you don't see please let us know and we will create something special for you!
