Enjoy the Party!

Remember that painting is about the fun and memories, not the final product. Our instructors will help your kids and guests with step by step directions but they are also focused on making sure your party is a blast and that kids are filled with fun memories and a joy for art!

Don't forget to take photos! Progress photos can be so much fun to look back on and group photos make for great mementos. Remember to take a special family photo too!

FAQs

Where is the party venue located?

Our address is 1813 130th Ave NE #210 Bellevue, WA 98005. Our party venue is street facing and we have parking in front of our venue plus there is additional parking on the street or around the back of the building. Out of respect for the companies surrounding us, we ask that you and your guests refrain from parking in spots directly in front of another business.

What do I need to supply for the party?

We have all of the supplies needed for the activity portion of your party1

For parties at our venue, if you would like, you are welcome to bring in lunch, snacks, or dessert for your party! If you do bring in any food items, we ask that you also bring in any plates, cups, napkins, etc. that you will need. You are also welcome, to bring in some basic decorations to put out but we do not allow confetti, silly string, and open flames (aside from when singing happy birthday).

For parties where we come to you, all we need is access to a sink and for you to have tables and chairs for all painters so  our staff can set up a painting station for each artist. We will bring everything we need but if you would like to have floor coverings, we ask that you set them up prior to our arrival.

When can I arrive at the venue?

You may arrive up to 15 minutes prior to your party start time to drop off your things and do any setup that you need before the guests arrive. When you arrive, we will have everything set up on our end and will have a helper on hand to help with anything you need as you arrive and setup. Please note that early arrivals will not be allowed to enter the venue until your designated party arrival time as our staff needs to reset from prior parties, prep for your party, and often times take their lunch break. We ask that you be respectful of our staff during the time before your party so that they can focus on getting everything setup for you and your guests!

What is the layout of the party?

Typically, our artist will start the painting 5-10 minutes after the party start time once all or most of the guests have arrived. If there are late arrivals, we can help them catch up upon arrival. The first few steps of the painting take approximately 30 minutes and at that time, we will take a break to let the paintings dry a bit and to give the kids time to move around. If you choose to serve food, this is the perfect time for snacks or lunch. After eating, we will return to the paintings to finish them up. Depending on the age group and speed of painting, if there is extra time our staff will lead a game or art themed story time. When there is about 15 minutes left of the party, our staff will help setup for happy birthday and cake time if you choose to have cake or dessert.

What do I do at the end of my party?

At the end of your party, you can pay your party balance if you have not done so already, and we will have the option to add gratuity if you would like. We ask that you pack up anything you would like to take home or keep but our staff will take care of all other cleanup! At our venue, if you need help packing things up or bringing them out to your car please ask our staff and they are happy to assist.

How long do paintings take to dry?

All paintings will be ready for your guests to take with them when they leave at the end of the party! Most paintings dry to the touch within 15 minutes but some with a more generous helping of paint may take a little longer or need the assistance of a hair dryer (cool setting is recommended).

Which paintings can I choose from?

We have a large gallery of kid friendly paintings to choose from which you can view here: Kids Paint Gallery. We ask that you send us your painting selection at least 48 hours prior to your party so we can let our staff know and they can set up accordingly. If you have a special request for a painting theme that you don't see please let us know and we will create something special for you!

How many guests can I have? What if more guests show up than expected?

For parties at our venue, you are welcome to have up to 35 people total including up to 20 kids. For parties where we come to you, we can accommodate up to 50 painters. We ask that you send us a final guest count a couple of days prior to your party so our staff can prep the supplies accordingly. If you have more guests than expected, our staff will do their best to accommodate but they may need to make modifications to your party package to ensure a safe and enjoyable party for all. Refunds will not be given in the event that activities are modified due to incorrect guest counts.

What should parents do during the party?

Many families choose to have parents/guardians drop off kids and pick them up at the end of the party but this is completely up to you as long as at least one adult remains per 10 kids. Our party activities are designed to be focused on the kids but parents are welcome to watch and take photos/videos and are encouraged to join in on the fun as well! We do ask that adults be respectful in regards to volume during the party to ensure that the kids are able to hear the artist and to reduce distractions. We highly encourage you to watch and enjoy the creative process!
